F8 and hemophilia: Advancements in hemophilia care have yielded factor replacement therapies, such as recombinant anti-hemophilia FVIII and recombinant FIX, which when administered prophylactically are efficacious in preventing or reducing the risk of bleeding and serious bleeding complications, preserving joint function, and improving HRQoL and productivity in patients with severe hemophilia [9–14].
