Univariate logistic regression analysis showed that higher age, female sex, low body mass index, low albumin, TC, HDL-C, and LDL-C levels, high CRP, NT-proBNP, creatinine levels, ADHF at admission, and history of dementia and antipsychotic use were found to be significant risk factors for the occurrence of delirium (Table 2). This evidence concerns the gene CRP and dementia.
