The levels of serum soluble form of the cell-surface antigen BCMA [13, 23], programmed death-ligand 1 (PD-L1) [6], IL-6 receptor (IL-6R) [24], CD40 ligand (CD40L) [25], and vascular cell adhesion molecule (VCAM)-1 [26] were shown to be increased in MM patients and associated with MM disease progression. This evidence concerns the gene TNFRSF17 and Miyoshi myopathy.
