At multivariable logistic regression analysis for presence of β-amyloid in temporal artery specimens of patients with spontaneous ICH, predictive variables for the presence of β-amyloid in temporal artery biopsies were: age (per 1 year) (OR: 1.48; p = 0.035), hypertension (OR: 2.23; p = 0.085), intralobar site of haemorrhage (OR: 1.66; p = 0.03), APOE epsilon 2 allele (OR: 1.96; p < 0.0001), APOE epsilon 4 allele (OR: 1.88; p < 0.0001) (see Table 3).
