Rates of autoimmunity were higher in patients with elevated IgE levels (2/5, 40%; p = 0.011, B coefficient 2.96) and in patients with undetectable IgA levels (3/5, 60%; p = 0.036, B coefficient 3.33), as compared with patients with normal IgE and IgA levels. This evidence concerns the gene CD79A and Autoimmunity.
