MAPT and Parkinson disease: Wang et al. (2012) reported that Rep1 and rs356219 in SNCA, rs242562 and rs2435207 in MAPT, L444P in GBA, rs4273468 in BST1, rs823144 in PARK16 significantly modified the LRRK2-related risk for PD and the patients' ages at onset (AAOs) in a Chinese cohort consisting of 2013 sporadic PD patients and 1971 controls.
