In oestrogen receptor negative breast cancer, miR‐520b functions as a tumour suppressor by targeting NF‐κB and TGF‐β pathways.23 Besides, it is also reported that miR‐520b suppresses cell migration and invasion through inhibiting CD44 in head‐neck cancer.24 Based on previous data and our present study, miR‐520b likely plays oncogenic or anti‐tumour roles in different cancers through targeting distinct genes. Here, NFKB1 is linked to neoplasm.
