The indirect interactions of β-catenin with IGF-IR receptor and other members of the IGF-I signaling pathway have been reported as β-Catenin/POU5F1/SOX2 transcription factor complex mediates IGF-I receptor signaling and predicts poor prognosis in lung adenocarcinoma and Caveolin-1-LRP6 signaling module stimulates aerobic glycolysis in prostate cancer (27–29). This evidence concerns the gene IGF1R and prostate cancer.
