Bromodomain-containing protein 7 (BRD7), also known as celtix-1, is a subunit of the SWI/SNF complex specific for polybromo-associated BRG1-associated factor (PBAF), which was first identified as a tumor suppressor in nasopharyngeal carcinoma cells in 2000 (29). This evidence concerns the gene BRD7 and nasopharyngeal carcinoma.
