As shown in Figures 2(a)–2(c), Rg3-RGE not only suppressed the transcriptional and translational levels of iNOS, COX-2, interleukin (IL)-1β, IL-6, and TNF-α in RAW cells, but also reduced the mRNA levels for these proinflammatory cytokines in the lung and testis tissues of LPS-induced septic shock mice in a dose-dependent manner (Figures 3(a) and 3(b)). This evidence concerns the gene NOS2 and septic shock.
