To determine if the increased production of Type III IFNs in Ss infection could be reversed by anthelmintic treatment, we stimulated whole blood from INF individuals with Ss antigen or PPD or LPS or media alone (unstimulated) before (pre-T) and 6 months after (post-T) treatment and measured the levels of IFN lambda-1, IFN lambda-2, and IFN lambda-3. The gene discussed is CBLIF; the disease is synovial sarcoma.
