Nesfatin-1 enhanced glucose tolerance in GHSR+/+ mice to a greater extent than in the control group, but blood glucose of mice injected with [D-Lys3]-GHRP-6 was similar to that of mice receiving nesfatin-1 and [D-Lys3]-GHRP-6 co-injection during OGTT (Figure 3D), suggesting the function of nesfatin-1 in improving glucose tolerance was at least partially blocked by GHSR antagonist, which is capable of occupying the GHSR and thus hindering the interaction of nesfatin-1 and GHSR.
