ADORA2A and drug-induced dyskinesia: In such way, the obtained pre-clinical information points to the use of A2AR antagonists as valuable agents for: (i) providing motor benefits by themselves, (ii) potentiating the benefit of dopamine agonists, or (iii) preventing the development of dopamine-like drugs induced dyskinesias (for review see Hauser and Schwarzschild, 2005; Jenner et al., 2009).
