Among immediate determinants, women’s low BMI (β=−0.68), women’s anaemia (β=−4.51) and child diarrhoea (β=−1.24) were negatively associated with child Hb while women’s consumption of meat and fish as well as dark green leafy vegetables showed a positive association (β=1.52 and β=0.25, respectively). This evidence concerns the gene GSTM1 and anemia (phenotype).
