Mutant IDH1 was statistically significantly related to both higher G0S2 methylation (0.749 vs. 0.366, p = 9.439e-53) and lower G0S2 expression (3.1 vs. 7.03, p = 0.000) compared to wild-type IDH1 among WHO grade II–IV gliomas (Fig 1B and 1C). This evidence concerns the gene IDH1 and central nervous system cancer.
