CCL2 and lymphoma: This was evidenced by the upregulated expression of IEGS33 genes such as those encoding for the CCL2, CCL22, and CSF1 chemokines that promote immunosuppressive cells (e.g., M2 macrophages or TAM) in the lymphoma microenvironment as well as the upregulation of immunosuppressive molecule genes (such as indole 2,3-dioxygenase (IDO) which induces T-cell inhibition).
