FHL1 is significantly down-regulated expressed and plays important roles in the regulation of development and progression in several types of human tumors including prostatic carcinoma, bladder cancer (BC), breast carcinoma, hepatocarcinoma, renal carcinoma, lung cancer, gastric cancer, astrocytoma, oral squamous cell carcinoma (OSCC), and melanoma [37–41]. This evidence concerns the gene FHL1 and breast cancer.
