HOTTIP was aberrantly down-regulated in glioma, and over-expression of HOTTIP inhibited the growth of glioma in vitro and in vivo by regulation of BRE (brain and reproductive) gene expression, besides, HOTTIP promotes hypoxia-induced EMT of malignant glioma by regulating the miR-101/ZEB1 axis [26, 27]. Here, HOTTIP is linked to central nervous system cancer.
