In the breast cancer tissue containing the c.2830 C>T mutation of SIN3A, SIN3A staining was strongly observed within the regions of the cancer lesions (Fig. 5D,E), and the magnified imaging showed the distribution of SIN3A mutant to be cytoplasmic, since the blue staining by hematoxylin used as a counterstain was clearly detected in the nuclear regions (Fig. 5F). Here, SIN3A is linked to breast cancer.
