The age at dissection varied according to the underlying NS‐TAD form, with a mean age of presentation of 32 years for the familial thoracic aortic aneurysm and dissection forms associated with the mutations of the PRKG1 gene and of 54 years for those associated with the mutation of the MYLK gene (Figure 2 and Table 3). This evidence concerns the gene PRKG1 and thoracic aortic aneurysm.
