We found that expression of hPLD1 (Rh1 > hPLD1) was able to suppress retinal degeneration in norpAP24 as well as a dPLD transgene; however, expression of hPLD2 (Rh1 > hPLD2) was able to mediate only a minimal but statistically significant suppression of retinal degeneration in norpAP24 (Figure 2C,D). Here, PLD2 is linked to retinal degeneration.
