Further we investigated that administration of TAX hindered the mRNA expression of β-catenin and thus our study strongly illustrated that TAX has compelling anti-proliferation activity in human colon cancer cells, promoting apoptosis and the anti-proliferation effect of TAX may be arbitrated by PI3K/Akt signaling by jamming Wnt/β-catenin signaling transduction, through hampering the β-catenin expression. Here, AKT1 is linked to colonic neoplasm.
