Consistent with the results in vitro, the expression of cleaved caspase-3 (two-way ANOVA, MPTP: F1,20 = 4.712, p = 0.0422; genotype: F1,20 = 4.617, p = 0.0441; interaction: F1,20 = 5.561, p = 0.0287) (Figures 7F,G) was increased, and the ratio of Bcl-2/BAX was decreased in the MPTP-induced PD mice model, which was alleviated by miR-212-5p injection (two-way ANOVA, MPTP: F1,20 = 9.416, p = 0.0061; genotype: F1,20 = 4.273, p = 0.0419; interaction: F1,20 = 3.819, p = 0.0648) (Figures 7F,H). This evidence concerns the gene BAX and Parkinson disease.
