Additionally, this study also found that, according to the PJI group, the concentration of PCT in blood (median value 0.33 ng/mL, interquartile range 0.08 ng/mL–2.79 ng/mL) seemed to be greater (about two times) than those in joint fluid (median value 0.16 ng/mL, interquartile range 0.12 ng/mL–0.26 ng/mL).
