CBX2 and infection: A decrease in Cbx2 mRNA and protein were observed upon infection of mouse peritoneal macrophages (Fig. 1C) and RAW264.7 macrophages (Fig. 1D) with a variety of viruses in addition to VSV, and upon exposure to Poly (I:C), which suggested the decreased expression of Cbx2 might be involved in the antiviral innate immune response.
