PGRMC1 and steatosis: Interestingly, both mRNA (2.09 folds, Fig. S3) and protein (1.43 fold, Fig. 4B) level of Pgrmc1 were increased (P < 0.05) in high-fat-fed WT mice than WT mice fed a normal diet, suggesting that Pgrmc1 can also be used as potential biomarker in steatosis.
