INS and chronic kidney disease: The risk of hypoglycemia was higher for patients with chronic kidney disease (HR = 1.36, 95% CI = 1.06–1.75) and medications of sulfonylurea (HR = 1.72, 95% CI = 1.18–2.51), metformin (HR = 1.74, 95% CI =1.20–2.53), insulin (HR = 1.86, 95% CI = 1.32–2.61) and loop diuretics (HR = 1.32, 95% CI = 1.01–1.73).
