Comparing only the LTBI subjects with IFN-γ values > 0.7 IU/mL (considered as values associated with “established infection”)32 at the baseline and at the end of therapy (33 patients for TB1; 35 patients for TB2), we confirmed a significant decrease of IFN-γ in response to TB1- (p = 0.003) and TB2-peptides stimulation (p = 0.01). Here, REEP5 is linked to infection.
