(i) Ars2 depletion in glioblastoma cells (U87 and LN229) markedly decreased the expression of miRNA-6798-3p and increased the expression of p53 and p21, leading to inhibition of cellular proliferation and induction of apoptosis; (ii) Cotransfection of Ars2-knockingdown cells with miRNA-6798-3p mimic attenuated Ars2 depletion-inhibition of cellular proliferation and induction of apoptosis through increases in levels of miRNA-6798-3p and decreases in the expression of p53 and p21. This evidence concerns the gene TP53 and glioblastoma.
