Following the 7-day culture of M-CSF/sRANKL-stimulated BMNCs derived from MM patients in type 1 collagen-coated 24-well plates (OC culture), a large number of multinuclear OCs formed that were positive for tartrate-resistant acid phosphatase (TRAP) and CD26 (Figure S1a).
