Hesperidin has also exhibited an anti-inflammatory effect by reducing circulating inflammatory markers, i.e., TNF-α, interleukin 6 (IL-6), and a high-sensitivity C-reactive protein (hs-CRP), in patients with type 2 diabetes [27] and suppressed inflammatory responses in lipopolysaccharide-induced RAW 264.7 cells [28].
