As an important component of the TEAD-1-YAP complex, YAP1 upregulation in cytoplasm is associated with histologic grading, lymph node metastasis, and recurrence of cervical SCC [20], and its nuclear overexpression is associated with shorter OS and disease-free survival of cervical adenocarcinoma [20]. Here, TEAD1 is linked to metastatic malignant neoplasm in the lymph nodes.
