Taken together the aforementioned findings and considering the key roles of impaired adhesion and migratory phenotype of tumor cells in metastatic dissemination, we assumed that the Dau–GnRH-III conjugates substituted with short-chain fatty acids containing Lys may have not only the cytotoxic activity but also modulatory effects on cell adhesion and migration of melanoma cells. The gene discussed is GNRH1; the disease is neoplasm.
