Biomarker concentrations were higher in patients with aortic stenosis (AS) and elevated PSP (4916 (394–12,032) vs. 602 (366–1818) ng/L, p = 0.049 for NT-proBNP and 4525.0 ± 1653.8 vs. 3159.2 ± 1568.7 pg/mL, p = 0.030 for GDF-15, respectively). Here, GDF15 is linked to aortic stenosis.
