HMGB3, a member of the HMG-box family, is highly expressed in different types of cancers, including gastric cancer, esophageal squamous cell carcinoma, breast cancer, and urinary bladder cancer.13, -15,27 Recent studies indicate that HMGB3 is associated with tumorigenesis.
