B: The effectiveness of targeted therapy alone and of small molecule receptor tyrosine kinase inhibitors (TKIs) alone, such as gefitinib, erlotinib, crizotinib and alectinib, has been reported in the literature for NSCLC patients with choroidal metastasis [21–23], but these treatments are mainly suitable for lung adenocarcinoma, as the incidence of the corresponding driver mutations is too low in lung squamous cell cancer. The gene discussed is NTRK1; the disease is non-small cell lung carcinoma.
