PRKAA1 and gastric cancer: Currently, several studies have demonstrated that PRKAA1 polymorphisms conduce to the development of gastric cancer, Sun et al. [42] revealed that LINC00152/miR-139-5p could promote the cell glycolysis of gastric cancer cells through regulating PRKAA1 expression, Li et al. [43] indicated that Calcium Binding Protein 39-Like (CAB39L) may be a novel potential regulator for gastric cancer metabolism, which function on activation of PRKAA1/2.
