SFN and colorectal cancer: Since hyperactive Wnt/β-catenin signaling represents a hallmark of human colorectal cancerogenesis with more than 90% of the cancers exhibiting genetic alteration activating the pathway [2], inhibition of Wnt signaling by SFN suggests broad responsiveness of colorectal cancers to SFN treatment and benefits for colorectal cancer prevention through SFN uptake.
