In paclitaxel-resistant breast cancer cell models, both CAV1 silencing and ADQ treatment resulted in the significant suppression of cell proliferation, but CAV1 silencing did not increase the effects of ADQ, namely inhibition of proliferation, cell cycle arrest, or apoptosis induction in MDA-MB-231/T and MCF-7/T cells (Figures 12A–D). The gene discussed is CAV1; the disease is breast carcinoma.
