According to the TargetScan database, we found that there exists at least one miR-6775-3p binding site on the 3′UTR region of tumor antigen MAGE-A family (including MAGE-A1, MAGE-A2, MAGE-A3, MAGE-A6, MAGE-A8, MAGE-A9, MAGE-A10, MAGE-A11, and MAGE-A12), which plays oncogenic role in ESCC progression (Fig. 3a)18. Here, MAGEA9 is linked to esophageal squamous cell carcinoma.
