Recently, through the use of a genome-scale CRISPR-Cas9 approach, within 147 candidate genes found to be selectively essential to the growth and survival of MYNC-amplified neuroblastoma cell lines, it was discovered that a small group of transcriptional factors are members of the CRC that maintains cell state in MYCN amplified neuroblastoma. This evidence concerns the gene MYCN and neuroblastoma.
