CXCR3 and T-cell non-Hodgkin lymphoma: Interestingly, while T cell lymphomas may use CXCR3 to initially migrate to the skin, the presence of high levels of CXCR3 ligands in the blood, at least partly due to secretion by the lymphoma cells, leads to downregulation of CXCR3 on effector CD8 T cells such that they do not accumulate in the skin (127, 128).
