Recently, with the help of microarray and sequencing methods, as well as available open‐access databases such as The Cancer Genome Atlas (TCGA), the identification of molecular subtypes and discovery of biomarkers have been performed in cancers,7, 8, 9 including UCEC.10 For example, using RNA‐seq data from the TCGA database, 3742 differentially expressed genes (DEGs) were identified among 552 UCEC samples and 35 normal controls.10 A gene co‐expression network was constructed to identify key genes associated with the cell cycle and the tumor protein p53 signaling pathway. Here, TP53 is linked to cancer.
