Although we observed a higher frequency of mutations in the CTNNB1 (p.D32G, p.G34R, p.S45P, and p.S45F) in metastatic ACC, there were no mutations observed in TP53, ZNRF3, MEN1, and DAXX. However, it should be noted that only 7 of 91, 4 of 91, and 2 of 91 primary ACCs in the TCGA study were found to have damaging mutations in TP53, MEN1, and DAXX, respectively. The gene discussed is CTNNB1; the disease is adrenal cortex carcinoma.
