INS and type 1 diabetes mellitus: We showed that compared with sensor-augmented insulin pump therapy, day-and-night hybrid closed-loop insulin delivery significantly improved the percentage of time spent within the glucose target range (3·9–10·0 mmol/L) and mean glucose concentrations, and led to a significant decrease in HbA1c while reducing hyperglycaemia and hypoglycaemia in a mixed population with suboptimally controlled type 1 diabetes.
