SQLE and cancer: When Over-UpT genes are ranked according to their overexpression levels, several genes already implicated at the protein, functional and therapeutic level in cancer, can be observed in the top positions, such as CSE1L in Chr2044,45, PRKDC, encoding DNA-dependent protein kinase catalytic subunit46, and SQLE (squalene epoxidase)47 in Chr8q, HSPH1 (encoding HSP110)48 and CDK839,49, in Chr13, MACC150 in Chr7, CKS2 (Cyclin-dependent kinases regulatory subunit 251,52, and SET oncogene53 in Chr9.
