BRCA2 and breast carcinoma: When age at diagnosis of breast cancer was compared between male breast cancer patients with pathogenic variants in BRCA2 and those with no pathogenic variant, age at diagnosis of breast cancer was significantly older in patients with pathogenic variants (mean ± SD, 75.5 ± 5.8 years old) than those with no pathogenic variant (63.3 ± 10.6 years old, t-test, P = 3.90 × 10−5).
