Similarly, the correlation between HOXC-AS3 expression levels and the survival of GC patients was also supported by Kaplan–Meier Plotter analysis (http://kmplot.com/analysis/, detailed steps were described in Additional file 8: Supplementary Methods), which indicated that higher HOXC-AS3 expression correlated with worse OS, using publicly available chip data from 631 GC patients (Fig. 2f).
