Even though LETM was reported to be the most specific radiological finding supporting NMO diagnosis in adult patients (Wingerchuk et al., 2006), short TM is not uncommon in NMOSD and does not exclude NMOSD diagnosis (Flanagan et al., 2015) and decision to perform AQP4‐Ab testing.
