The circular distribution of ALS proteins and canonical pathways highlight the key proteins that are part of more than 3 of the canonical pathways (Fig. 6c), again suggesting the importance of ATM, which is present in 7 different canonical pathways, and other proteins such as CCNB1 and CDKN1A, which play important roles in 3 different canonical pathways. This evidence concerns the gene CCNB1 and amyotrophic lateral sclerosis.
